If you have used a nursing bra that you really love (or one you hate!), please post!! I thought I was making an investment when I bought some after Lydia was born. Unfortunately, I'm not the same size this time! (Has anyone else experienced this?) My size is not available in stores so I am left to search/order/return online. This also means paying big bucks. Fun.

I personally haven't tried these yet but I've talked to other women who use and love Bravado Nursing Bras.

I have been wanting to try one for a long time since I'm still nursing Claire but I think I should wait until after baby comes and see what size I need by then since it seems to change on nearly a monthly basis now! :P

I can't help you with any special order bras. I'm a Walmart girl. I know several people who also use theirs and have liked them. I am currently using the sports bra version. Yes, I had to buy new ones this time around. I don't think my body will ever be the same again!

I have one Bravado which is really comfortable but doesn't have enough support - however, I think it's the style not the line as a whole. Although the salesperson told me it was for anytime I think it is intended more for overnight wear. I found a bra style at Motherhood I really like. It's comfortable, supportive, and has a small amount of padding (I hate non padded bras). It seems easy to unhook so hopefully I'll like it as much once I actually start using that feature. Please post if you find a brand you really like. I'm always looking for suggestions.

My favorite last time around was a nursing bra by Elle Mcpherson - Maternelle. (Apparently it was featured on Oprah...hmm.)I've read that Bravado (maybe just a particular style) is comfortable, but not very supportive. Interesting that you have the same take, Kelley.

I LOVED my bravado, but it wasn't totally supportive. It worked really well when I was bigger, but then I came down a little and it wasn't AS supportive. Bravado has three different styles and mine was the biggest one. I think if I had also bought one in the next style down I would have had more support later on.
If you get fitted at the women's pavilion at Northside they will help you find the right bra. You will pay $40-$50 for the bra if you choose to buy(the fitting is free), but it is soooo worth it. We have no money and I would spend my last pennies on a good bra. I found the one I loved there and then went and looked for it on Ebay. Happy shopping!

My favorite has been an all cotton, semi-padded bra from Mimi Maternity. It has a wide, heavy duty elastic band on the bottom that is as supportive as an underwire for me without the problems an underwire can cause. It has a very easy hook too, so you don't feel like you are fumbling.

I also had a Medela Bra that I hated..It was way too tight and unflattering(not that nursing bras are flattering, but this was as bad as they get.) Oh and my only other beef with both the medela and the bravado is you have to wear nursing pads with them or the whole world knows you're cold. I didn't leak at all and didn't want to keep spending the money on buying the pads but if I didn't wear them, it was awkward. Okay I will stop now.

I also like Bravado and they come in all the odd and small sizes (which I also need). Try finding a 34C at any regular store! You should take a look at www.breakoutbras.com. They have a good selection and are very knowledgable if you call for help. I am hoping to get their Bravado Lifestyle soon and already have the maternity/nursing bra. They have a huge sale going on now, free shippin, and after your first order they give you another coupon for 10% off your next order.

I have gotten and liked a few nursing bras from Motherhood but I didn't mention them because they wore out REALLY FAST and that frustrated me. But I did love them while they lasted. It just wasn't long enough. I'm not sure what I'll try this next time... Bras are just too expensive.
